PHYS142: Introductory Physics II, with Lab


(This course, normally taught by Dr. Frosso Seitaridou, is being taught by Dr. Segre in the Spring of 2015 while Dr. Seitaridou is on Sabbatical)

Catalog Description:

Spring only. Four credit hours. Prerequisite: PHYS141. Optics, electricity and magnetism, and concepts of special relativity. Physics 141 and 142 are appropriate courses to satisfy a one-year physics requirement for professional schools. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory per week. Physics 141 and 142 are appropriate courses to satisfy a one-year physics requirement for professional schools.
